Law Enforcement Unites Behind Commissioner James Morris for Superior Court Judge

SACRAMENTO, CA -- Sacramento Superior Court Judge candidate James Morris has secured the endorsements of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and the Law Enforcement Managers’ Association. 


SCDSA President Sergeant Nathan Seger said, “We are pleased to support James Morris for Sacramento Superior Court Judge. James brings extensive legal experience and, much like law enforcement officers, is dedicated to making our community a safer place.”

Public service is nothing new to Commissioner Morris. His service began when he joined the Air Force. He served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. After six years of active duty he advanced to become a noncommissioned officer before his separation. After school, Commissioner Morris was a deputy district attorney in Lassen and Nevada Counties. He has served as a Sacramento County Court Commissioner and as a Criminal Law Research Attorney.
